INTERNET

Open the
Internet Explorer program
Go to
the Tools menu / select Internet
Options
Go to
the Connections tab
Select
your default connection in the Dial-Up and VPN settings box
click once on the needed connection (choose the broadband
connection if on highspeed)
Click
Always dial my default connection
Click
Apply, then OK
Close
the program and re-open it
The connect
box should pop up (if it doesn't then click the REFRESH button
at the top)
Type
in your password (if not saved, click remember password)
Check the connect automatically box
Click OK
You should
connect now, and then in the future you will not have to connect
manually.
NETSCAPE
NAVIGATOR
you will
need to set this in Internet Explorer, then it will allow
this program to connect automatically.
MOZILLA
FIREFOX
you
will need to set this in Internet Explorer, then it will allow
this program to connect automatically.
Removing
the Outlook Express Security on Attachments
1. Open your OUTLOOK EXPRESS
program
2. Go to TOOLS
3. Go to OPTIONS...
4. A box should appear that looks similar to this one:
You will then want to click on the SECURITY
tab...(which will bring up a screen like the following)

Under the section titled "Virus Protection" - There
are 2 CHECKBOXES.
Make sure that the one labeled Do not allow attachments
to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus,
is NOT checked.
Click
APPLY, then OK.
You
may now retreive your attachments.
