ADSL Connection (PPPoE) with Windows
2000
You need to register for a Pentel net connection
account. If you haven't done so yet, contact Pentel
Net at 231-223-4210.
Building Your Connection
Step 1
Right-click on My Network Places from the desktop
Double click Make a new connection
Click Next
Step 2
Mark the Dial-up to private network option.
Click Next
Step 3
Mark the ISDN channel - PPPoEWin Miniport 
Click Next
Step 4
Type Pentel in the Phone number: field.
Click Next
Step 5
Choose For all users
Click Next
Step 6
Type a name for the connection (like username
)
Check the Add a shortcut to my desktop 
Click Finish
Step 7
The following screen should appear (If it doesn't,
double click the icon of your connection).
In the User name field type your username
[Pentel users: "username" portion of
main email account's username@pentel.net]
In the password field type your password
Click Dial
Ending the ADSL connection
When the ADSL connection is no longer needed you
may disconnect by double clicking on the connection
icon
Click on Disconnect
